In the very middle of it stands LIFE best described by an Indian mother with her newborn baby. An European priest is bringing the Word of Life to this New World.

Cultural shocks brought tensions, conflicts, clashes and even wars.

The external perimeter of the painting reflects those wars and tensions.

Between the center (LIFE) and the external perimeter (WARS AND TENSIONS), people of these times had to go by their dailing living. The intermediate layer shows some daily scenes of their lives.
